”I’m so proud to be associated with such a worthwhile project as Stand Easy. It really will make a difference to the wounded, injured and sick serving and veteran forces taking part. It’s such a positive and life affirming way to use theatre to aid recovery.”

“I am very pleased to have been asked to be an ambassador for the Stand Easy project.
I know that my father and grandfather, both
Black Watch men through and through, would have heartily approved of the company’s aims. They were not greatly acquainted with the world of theatre, but who knows better than a soldier the tense countdown to ‘curtain up’, and who could put on a better show than The Royal Highland Regiment? And what better project to begin with than the story of the 4th Battalion, The Black Watch ‘Dundee’s Own’?

I look forward to the first of many opening nights.”
