Here We Go (2022)

In 2022 Stand Easy established a partnership with The Retired Police Officers Association Scotland. We delivered a drama and storytelling project for RPOAS members from the Tayside and Lanarkshire branches, the group created a piece which was performed at the RPOAS conference in April 2022.

The piece was directed by Hannah Uttley and Josef Boon and was supported by veteran volunteer Iain Kinloch.

Over 2 weeks the group explored themes of retirement, service and what it means to be a police officer. The piece they created follows the story of a group of ex-police colleagues who meet once a month for a meal, together they reflect on their service and the future.
