Performance: I Remember… at Macrobert Arts Centre 1/2/19

Last year Stand Easy Productions (Dundee) was lucky enough to form a partnership with Macrobert Arts Centre, offering weekly drama workshops for Armed Forces Veterans and their family members.

Now, we’re pleased to bring to life a performance the group have devised themselves, I Remember… (working title) which began life as an exploration of what Remembrance Day meant, who it was for and what its value is in the 21st Century. We explored some of the things which the participants remembered, or thought about, around Remembrance Day, including the goods times shared with fellow soldiers, the friends lost, the difficulty transitioning to civilian life and the struggle to balance family with service.
