Interested in our May 2019 Performance Project?

This is nearly upon us! As always, it is a bit of a leap of faith as we’re still awaiting final confirmation of funding. But happily we have a number of applicants already, and are looking to fill the spaces left. If you know of anyone who might enjoy working with us, please persuade them to get in touch for an informal chat. Email:

Rehearsals for the performance, where we will devise and develop our project will start the week of 6th May, 11am to 5pm, with an evening meal provided afterwards – rehearsals last 3 weeks. The project will then tour, concluding at the Dundee Rep on Friday 31st May, 6.30pm. Tickets are already available. Other venues will be announced soon.

After evaluation with last year’s participants, we’re committed to making the experience less dramatically confrontational or ‘noisy’. The characters in the play will have a background in the Falklands Conflict, but the play won’t be about this.  Instead it will be about the challenges and positives brought about by isolation.  Individual recorded responses will be included in the play.

Alan Cameron will be directing this May project for the last time and he will be working with John Wills, a Musical Director from Tayport.  As well as playing in bands, John has worked for the BBC and makes soundscapes, giving us great options for including sound in our work.

Thanks to the following for their funding support!
